Even though I was his primary care provider for most of his first year, I have trouble recalling our son as an infant. I'm used to him as a three-year-old (almost four) and it's hard, for instance, to think of a time when he couldn't talk.

You know, I have been having that same feeling myself lately! I wonder if it's simply because we have new babies? Or if this is how we're genetically programmed to continue procreating? I couldn't tell you a darn thing about either birth or even what it feels like to be pregnant. I only "remembered" pregnancy once I was in its throes again with Liam, and even then, it was on a need-to-know basis. Memory = weird.
